In principle, pickup will take place as quickly as possible. The speed depends on the vehicle type, desired upgrades, time for journey to pickup point and traffic situation. Within Germany, pickup takes place in approx. 60 minutes on average, depending on vehicle type and upgrades. You are also welcome to commission a pickup far in the future.
Loading and unloading is basically the task of the loading and unloading point. For pallet goods, you can also book a vehicle with a lifting platform and lift truck, the driver can then load and unload pallets without external help. We can also offer you loading or unloading by hand for the vehicle types Caddy and Transporter, this option can be selected during order placement. Direct transports are the safest way to transport your goods. Due to the absence of transshipment points, risk of damage and delays is minimized. In addition, your goods can be tracked permanently and individually. This allows you to dispose of your goods at any time and, for example, change the delivery address or react in the event of delivery obstacles.
Delivery is generally made directly. We are bound by the statutory driving and rest periods, especially for long distances. We are happy to estimate time needed more precisely, taking into account the booked vehicle and the traffic and weather situation. Since we generally do not offer temporary storage, it is necessary to deliver directly in the case of shorter distances.
Your shipment will be transported by direct transport only without transshipment or temporary storage. Additional loads are possible. If you would like a solo trip or temporary storage, please contact us directly after placing the order or in advance by phone and we will be happy to advise you!
Basically no, unless you specify this. Depending on the type of goods to be transported, it would be easy to stack the goods, which greatly reduces the space required, especially for cartons, and contributes to both cost savings and environmental protection.

No – in the context of environmental protection and tour planning, it is sometimes ecologically more sensible to use a larger vehicle. The freight price offered is still valid in this case.

Occasionally, there are also vehicles with special dimensions that we do not offer across the whole area. In any case, the freight price offered will continue to be valid.
Load securing will be handled by the driver according to your wishes or the best possible way. This is primarily done with anti-slip mats and ratchet straps, which effectively fix and protect your goods. Depending on the type of vehicle, other types of load securing may also be used.
Higher insurance is generally possible for most types of goods. The costs here depend on the desired value of the goods, you can take out insurance during the order placement and also see the exact costs there. You can freely choose the amount. If the value of the goods exceeds €250,000, please contact us before or immediately after placing your order (contact).
Your goods are automatically insured at 8.33 SDR / kg. This corresponds to approximately €10 per kg of the gross weight of the goods. This insurance is automatically included with every transport.
This is possible with the vehicle types platform truck with cover, truck and semi-trailer. All vehicles can also be loaded from the rear.

At the moment, we only offer transport by road and air freight.
We do not transfer vehicles, not even by trailer.

Yes, however, these relations are excluded from the prices in the price calculator. Please also note that there are usually additional costs for tunnels/ferries. Since these costs vary and depend on both the time of booking and the season, we can only inform you of these costs once you have placed a binding order and after review. In these relations, we are also dependent on the availability of crossings; delivery may be delayed in the event of storms or non-existent capacity of the ferry operators. In any case, we will inform you promptly about the planned procedure.
Yes, you can also have letters transported. On request, we can carry out legally compliant delivery to the letterbox with photo / video evidence or deliver the goods against signature.
We are not a parcel service, but we can also transport parcels. This is suitable for particularly valuable, urgent or sensitive goods. Please use our price calculator to calculate the price.
This is possible in any case. Our price calculator currently covers most European countries as well as Switzerland, UK and Turkey and can be used by you for easy calculation. Please note that depending on the relation, different payloads may apply per vehicle. In principle, transport to third countries is also possible, but we currently only offer customs clearance to Switzerland, UK and Turkey. If you would like to order a transport to a third country and arrange customs clearance yourself, we will be happy to find a suitable solution for you.
In principle, waiting time of up to 60 minutes is always free and also taken into account when planning your tour. If there are longer waiting times, the costs are between 30 and 60 euros per hour, depending on the type of vehicle. In order to avoid waiting times, we will automatically notify you of the license plate number. We are also happy to notify you in advance free of charge. For this purpose, we only need a corresponding contact person with a telephone number. Further information can also be found in our terms and conditions.
There is a variety of vehicles for you to choose from, from caddies to semi-trailers. Available loading space ranges from 170x110x120 cm to 1,360x245x270 cm. The available payload ranges from 600 kg to 25,500 kg. You can find more information in our price calculator.

In principle, your shipment may be as long as the loading space of the booked vehicle. According to § 22 StVO, the load may protrude up to 1.50 m from the rear of the vehicle (with appropriate labelling) – in the case of short distances (within 100 km) even up to 3 m. Since we cannot combine your freight in such a case, we offer you the upgrade for overhang for the vehicle type platform truck with cover.
Lifting platforms can be booked as an upgrade for the platform truck with cover and the truck. These vehicles always have a lift truck on board as a standard service. Please note the reduced payload and loading capacity of vehicles with lifting platform.

Yes, that is possible. A distinction is made here between dangerous goods below 1,000 ADR points and dangerous goods above 1,000 ADR points. Dangerous goods below 1,000 ADR points can be transported using an upgrade with the vehicles transporter, platform truck with cover, truck and semi-trailer. Dangerous goods over 1,000 ADR points can be transported by truck or semi-trailer with upgrade. In any case, please provide us with at least the UN number and dangerous goods class during the booking. Ideally, you should send us the safety data sheets after booking.
Transport at trade fairs is no problem for trained STEX drivers. Please ensure that all typical, relevant information is provided when placing the order. These are usually: hall/ stand/contact person with telephone number. It is also usually advantageous to order a vehicle with a lifting platform and lift truck so that the driver can load and unload alone. Some trade fair organizers also offer a forklift truck on site for loading/unloading. Since this varies from trade fair to trade fair, please inform yourself in advance.
As part of the transport of goods to or from Switzerland, UK and Turkey, you can also order customs clearance. Of course, you can also take over customs clearance yourself and specify the border crossing point.
Please let us know the desired temperature range for refrigerated transports. Since the goods are permanently cooled, it is very important to optimize the exact pickup and delivery times, which also minimizes your costs. Refrigerated transports can only be selected with the vehicle types Caddy and transporter.
The lifting platform is as wide as the vehicle and has a maximum lifting capacity of 600 kg per package. For vehicles with lifting platform, a reduced maximum payload applies due to the dead weight. Goods can be transported at ground level by means of a lifting platform and lift truck, so this requires short, ground-level distances or a correspondingly large freight elevator.
Overhang allows you to ship goods that are longer than the desired vehicle. Since the goods thus protrude from the rear of the vehicle, they may be exposed to the weather (rain, snow). Packaging of the goods should be chosen taking into account these circumstances. This upgrade is only available on the platform truck with cover and more information will be provided during the booking process.
Our truck and semi-trailer are suited for ramps (110 cm ramp height). The platform truck with cover and transporter have a loading height of 70–90 cm – depending on the type of vehicle.
