Transport of dangerous goods

The ADR regulations are currently recognized in 52 countries and are also considered the standard for dangerous goods there. Each individual hazardous material has been assigned a so-called UN number, which enables precise classification. Not every truck driver is allowed to transport hazardous materials; drivers must be specially trained. Vehicles transporting dangerous goods with a high score must, among other things, be provided with an appropriate warning sign. Protective equipment must also be carried. For each vehicle that transports ADR dangerous goods, the ADR registration papers must be reapplied for every year.

If the dangerous goods were classified with less than 1,000 points, STEX requires at least the UN number for planning and execution of the transport. If the hazardous material was classified with more than 1,000 points, we need the safety data sheet. Many everyday items are considered hazardous goods, such as batteries, gasoline, diesel, heating oil, lithium-ion batteries, disinfectants, pesticides and other (chemical) substances.

If the transport of dangerous goods has to be carried out on a critical date, we will discuss the details with you individually after the order has been placed. Regardless of whether a caddy, van, tarpaulin bus or truck is used for the transport of hazardous goods, the transport is carried out as a direct journey and without reloading.
