STEX GmbH has been transporting dangerous goods of various classifications for many years and can rely on appropriately trained drivers. Your delivery is in good hands with us.
The ADR regulations are currently recognised in 52 countries, where they are also regarded as the standard for dangerous goods. Each individual type of dangerous goods has been assigned a so-called UN number, enabling precise classification. Not every lorry driver is allowed to transport dangerous goods; drivers have to be specially trained. Vehicles that transport dangerous goods with a high number of points must, among other things, be equipped with an appropriate warning sign. Protective equipment must also be carried. For every vehicle that transports ADR dangerous goods, the ADR registration documents must be re-applied for every year.
If the dangerous goods have been classified with fewer than 1,000 points, STEX requires at least the UN number to plan and carry out the shipment. If the dangerous goods were classified with more than 1,000 points, we need the safety data sheet. Dangerous goods include many items of daily use, e.g. batteries, petrol, diesel, heating oil, lithium-ion batteries, disinfectants, pesticides and other (chemical) substances.
If the shipment of dangerous goods has to be carried out by a specific date, we will discuss the details with you individually after you have placed your order. Regardless of whether a caddy, van, curtainsider or lorry is used to transport the dangerous goods, shipping is carried out as a direct delivery with no reloading.
Of course, the STEX express courier service transports dangerous goods within Germany and throughout Europe. You can easily calculate the costs involved with our online price calculator. All you have to do is enter the postal codes of the sender and recipient as well as the desired pick-up date in the appropriate fields. Then you decide between the individual vehicle types and click on the “Transport dangerous goods” upgrade with the applicable ADR points. The price for transporting the dangerous goods that is then displayed is to be regarded as a fixed price: any tolls, driver notifications, etc. have already been included. The transportation of dangerous goods is insured in accordance with ADSp 2017.
